Diamond Wire

Diamond Wire technology is ideal for use with the Pentruder Wire Saws.  This technology offers several advantages over traditional cutting methods including faster and more effective cutting, minimal dust and noise, along with the ability to cut vertical, horizontal, curves, circles, and more. Suitable for marble, granite slabs, metal, including steel, and heavily reinforced concrete.

ICS offers three types: of Diamond Wire; Brazed, Electroplated, and Sintered to fit your specific application.

Brazed diamond wire is engineered to cut through steel, alloy and heavily reinforced concrete. Developed for intense professional use in specialist applications such as heavily reinforced concrete cutting, underwater steel and pipe cutting, offshore/nuclear cuttings etc.

Sintered diamond wire is designed to provide a good balance of lifetime and cutting speed. General purpose sintered diamond wire is made for handling all types of concrete/reinforced concrete cutting applications such as demanding demolition, building, and renovation work.

Electroplated diamond wire uses an electrolytic process to attach the diamonds to the steel body of the beads, resulting in very fast speed from the beginning of the cut. Best for use in applications of hard concrete with heavy reinforcement and abrasive materials.
